6 Forgotten Heroes of Bollywood Industry

Have you ever been watching a movie from 15 years ago and thought, “oh yeah, what ever happened to that guy?” You’ve seen their faces over and over again in your favorite shows and movies throughout the years, but they seem to have escaped the pull of the limelight for one reason or another.

Zayed Khan

Son of actor Sanjay Khan, Zayed Khan made his acting debut with Chura Liyaa Hai Tumnein 2003. However, even after doing many movies, he failed to make a mark in Bollywood. He was last seen in Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene in 2015.

Chandrachur Singh

After a stellar debut in Tere Mere Sapne and critically acclaimed performance in Maachis, followed by in 1996, it didn’t look like anything could go wrong for Chandrachur Singh. But destiny was cruel to his talent and he suffered multiple dislocations of his shoulder joint during the shoot of a film. He made a comeback with the web series Aarya, starring Sushmita Sen, this year.

Sharad Kapoor

He made a mark with his film Dastak co-starring Mukul Dev and Sushmita Sen. He has done many films in his career but couldn’t taste huge success. After being out of the limelight for a few years, he made an appearance in 2019’s Jabariya Jodi.

Uday Chopra

After a not-so-great career in Bollywood, Uday bid adieu to acting, but continued to make an appearance in the Dhoom franchise. Uday, who is based in the US, looks after the home banner’s international division. Since his last film, Uday has kept a low profile. But the rumors of him dating Nargis Fakhri has kept him in news. However, after the Rockstar actress unfollowed Chopra on social media, rumors of their break-up started doing rounds.

Rahul Roy

Apart from Aashiqui, he is best remembered for his appearance in the TV reality show, Bigg Boss in 2007. His comeback movie – To Be Or Not To Be in 2013 – went rather unnoticed. Reportedly, he is all set to make a comeback soon.

Fardeen Khan

After winning the Filmfare Best Debut Award for Prem Aggan in 1998, Fardeen Khan proved to be quite a dud. However, after acting in a series of movies, we don’t see much of him these days. He was last seen in Dulha Mil Gaya (2010). As reports suggest, he is all set to make a comeback as a producer but he is open to acting roles as well.
