Social media comes up with new meme tendencies now and again. The present meme that’s gaining reputation is actor Amrita Rao’s ‘jal lijiye’ line from the 2006 movie, Vivah. The meme that includes Amrita Rao providing a glass of water has gone viral and has sparked a variety of memes and jokes.
Now, Amrita Rao herself has recreated the scene in an Instagram reel however with a twist. Within the video, Amrita seems with a glass of water and kindly affords ‘jal’. She then exits from the body and returns with a bucket of water which she throws towards the digicam and playfully says, “Aur? Jal chahiye? Kabse bol rahi hoon, ‘jal lijiye’. Naha lijiye, completely happy Holi (Would you like water? I’ve been providing water for therefore lengthy. Go and take a shower. Blissful Holi)!”
Amrita Rao made her Bollywood debut in 2002 with the movie Ab Ke Baras. She then went on to star in movies like Ishq Vishq, Major Hoon Na, Masti, amongst others. She was final seen within the 2019 movie Thackeray starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
