Photobiography of actor Ajit Khan to be launched today
Hyderabad: On the event of start centenary celebrations of Bollywood’s legendary actor from Hyderabad, Hamid Ali Khan, well-known as Ajit Khan, a pictorial biography goes to be launched by Jayesh Ranjan, Secretary, Data Know-how (IT) on February 25.
In accordance with the Decan Heritage Belief (DHT), to commemorate the start centenary of Ajit Khan, a pictorial biography with title, Ajit – the Lion, a legend of Indian Cinema, by Iqbal Rizvi goes to be launched at Nizam’s Membership on Friday.
Mohammed Safiullah, Managing Trustee, DHT mentioned that Ajit was born at Golconda in Hyderabad on January 27, 1922. He acted in round 200 movies and was remembered for his phrases like ‘Mona Darling’ and ‘Good Man’. He performed main and supporting roles for 20 years in movies. Ajit returned to Hyderabad in Nineteen Eighties and handed away on October 22, 1998 and was buried in Jamali Kunta, close to historic Golconda Fort.
