Amitabh Bachchan quits Aankhen 2, director Abhinay Deo confirms the film being shelved after Big B’s exit
Aankhen 2 has been going by means of critical ups and downs ever because it was introduced in 2016 on a grand scale. The sequel to the 2002 heist thriller Aankhen, directed by Anees Bazmee, was first introduced with Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and Regina Cassandra at a press convention. However the movie didn’t go on ground. And whereas the experiences of the film being shelved have been doing the rounds of the trade, Abhinay Deo who was presupposed to direct Aankhen 2 has confirmed that the movie has been shelved after Amitabh Bachchan’s exit.
Speaking in regards to the growth, Abhinay instructed Spotboye, “With out Mr Bachchan, I can’t make Aankhen 2. He’s the one thread that continues from Aankhen. So, since he’s not there to take it ahead, the movie is saved on the burner. Let’s hope sooner or later sooner or later, we will make it once more.”
Amitabh Bachchan was presupposed to reprise his function of Vijay Singh Rajput in Aankhen 2. It was then reported that the preliminary solid was changed with Sidharth Malhotra, Akshaye Khanna and Sunil Grover within the sequel. The primary schedule was supposed to start from Could 2021. However as a result of pandemic, the movie didn’t go on ground.
In the meantime, Large B at present has Brahmastra, Chehre, Jhund, MayDay, Goodbye and a remake of the Hollywood movie The Intern developing, in addition to an untitled movie with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone.
