Bera Movie Review: Dull screenplay makes film lose its plot – Bangalore Mirror
Vinu Balanja, a widely known tele serial director, debuts as a director in Sandalwood with this film. Balanja has chosen an excellent topic that throws gentle on the unlucky killings of kids within the title of caste and faith in Coastal Karnataka. However Balanja is but to return out of tele serial route.
The film begins with two leaders Asadulla and Keshavanand from two communities trying to achieve the higher hand. Each attempt to affect Saleem (Yash Shetty) and Vishnu (Rakesh Maiyya) who’ve an exhibition of outdated cash. Saleem helps Vishnu to keep up a goshala whereas the latter helps the previous to run the exhibition.
Whereas Asadulla needs Saleem to take away the pillars of an historic temple put in in entrance of the exhibition, Keshavanand needs the pillars intact and assures safety to Saleem and Vishnu.
In the meantime, rumours are agog on the upcoming killing of Saleem or Vishnu by rowdies employed by Asadulla. Police Inspector Vivek (Ashwin Hassan) enters the scene to guard the duo. What occurs to Saleem and Vishnu is what Bera is all about.
So far as the efficiency of the actors is anxious, Yash Shetty has tried his greatest to play the position that provides no scope to showcase his performing abilities. Rakesh Maiyya, a widely known tele serial actor, has nothing to do on this film besides mouthing a couple of dialogues. Aravind Rao, as a vicious chief of a neighborhood, is convincing. Veteran character actor Dattatreya makes a short look.
Multi-lingual senior actor Suman performs a prime cop who has misplaced his son. He too has nothing to do besides showing in a couple of scenes to steer a workforce of law enforcement officials and console his spouse Saru (Chitkala Biradar). Character actor Ashwin Hassan has acted effectively. Harshika Poonacha has performed a unique sort of position on this film.
The drawback of this film is the shortage of comedy and songs.
It’s price a watch if you wish to perceive how leaders with vested curiosity create legislation and order issues and make harmless kids the scapegoats in Coastal Karnataka.
