A heartwarming, coming-of-age story that explores a father-daughter relationship
Evaluate: ‘Shimmy’ begins off with Raima (Chahat Tewani) at a dance session in class. He skillfully handles the expansion of his character graph by means of the course of a day – from an ungainly, distant dad to a mature pal of his daughter. Chahat Tewani makes her mark because the younger Raima, attempting to juggle a wide range of feelings that comes with being an 11-year-old woman. Additionally leaving an impression is Bhamini Oza Gandhi as Sheetal, who is available in at an important juncture within the movie.
General, ‘Shimmy’ is a candy, heat nugget on relationships that’s merely but sensitively instructed and is unquestionably price a watch.
