New Delhi: Actors Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher starrer sports activities drama movie ‘Ghoomer’ obtained a standing ovation on the opening night time of the Indian Movie Pageant of Melbourne (IFFM) 2023.
‘Ghoomer’ guarantees to be a cinematic masterpiece that intertwines emotion, drama, and sheer leisure and is a befitting inspiring human triumphant story towards all odds. Because the curtains rose and the movie was showcased for the very first time, the viewers was enthralled by the magic that unfolded on display screen and the movie obtained a thunderous applause and standing ovation.
Abhishek stated on the opening night time, “I’m grateful for this platform for the world premiere of our movie. Ghoomer is a labour of affection. This has been Balki’s dream for a very long time. I don’t suppose there’s any higher means of giving again to a recreation you like so passionately, by making a movie devoted to it”.
The star-studded occasion witnessed an awesome crowd, each from the movie fraternity and enthusiastic followers alike with the likes of Kartik Aaryan, Vijay Varma, Mrunal Thakur, Anurag Kashyap, Rajshri Deshpande, Aparshakti Khurana, Vikramaditya Motwane joined in.
Helmed by the acclaimed director R Balki, the movie stars Abhishek Bachchan, Saiyami Kher, Shabana Azmi and Angad Bedi within the lead roles.
The movie is all set to hit the theatres on August 18.
Abhishek portrays the character of a coach, whose life takes an sudden flip when he crosses paths with a paraplegic sportsperson, performed by the sensible Saiyami Kher. Their journey collectively unfolds towards societal challenges and private struggles, all whereas guided by director R. Balki’s distinctive storytelling prowess.
