| Controversies | • In December of 2014, Catherine’s brother, Christopher, committed suicide by hanging himself to the window bars in his college hostel room. Some reports suggested that the actress’ brother, who was pursuing his commerce degree at a private college in Bangalore, had been suffering from depression and that he had no means of financial support from either Catherine or his family.
