Joy Ride review – a deliciously unsavoury blast of female friendship – The Guardian
Horny, gutter-minded and propelled by wholesale portions of medication and booze: Pleasure Trip is the type of uninhibited blast of dangerous behaviour that was, till the previous decade or so, primarily the area of younger white males. Movies akin to Bridesmaids and Street Journey did greater than merely put lipstick on a well-recognized formulation – they tapped into the very particular tensions that end result when the closed circle of lifelong feminine friendship is breached.
