Meri Awas Suno Movie Review: A ‘survival’ family drama

Story: RJ Shankar’s voice, type and dialogues have gained him many admirers, however an unlucky occasion turns his life and that of his household the wrong way up

Evaluation: RJ Shankar (Jayasurya), his spouse Kavita (Sshivada), a newsreader in a channel, and their son discover their lives upturned when Shankar faces a tragic occasion in his life. The story revolves across the household and their physician Sulakshna (Manju Warrier). RJ Shankar’s reputation comes not solely from the truth that he’s good at his job, but additionally for his good deeds, inflicting some heartburn amongst colleagues at his station. And out of the blue RJ Shankar loses his Most worthy asset – his voice – due to his chain-smoking, and docs rule out his probability of talking once more. Will he come again to the studio to host his fashionable present?

The struggles of an RJ, and husband and father, are portrayed excellently by Jayasurya. Some scenes remind you of Jayasurya-Prajesh Sen’s earlier enterprise Captain, the way in which Jayasurya was decided to regain his misplaced glory in soccer. Sshivada as a struggling, but supportive spouse, lives as much as the character. Manju Warrier, as a daring girl activist and a voice therapist, excels in her first film with Jayasurya.

Director Prajesh Sen’s newest enterprise as soon as once more with Jayasurya, after Captain and Vellam inform a unique story of a contemporary working household and their struggles. Music by M Jayachandran is a reduction at tense moments, and Pranayam Enna Oru Vakku and Eeran Nila are hummable.
