MM Keeravani: When Neeraj Pandey offered me a film with Ajay Devgn, I accepted without hesitation – TOI Etimes

Oscar and Golden Globe winner composer MM Keeravani is again in Bollywood after a hiatus of 5 years. His music was final heard in Hindi cinema in Mukul Abhiyankar’s 2018 thriller Lacking starring Manoj Bajpayee and Tabu.
Keeravani whose track Naatu Naatu is a world phenomenon, has through the years, been heard sporadically in Bollywood. He now returns to attain music for Neeraj Pandey’s subsequent movie Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha which options Ajay Devgn and Tabu within the lead.
Keeravani says he has no reservations about scoring music in Bollywood cinema. “I used to be very energetic in Hindi cinema in 2000-2002. The Bhatts, Mahesh and Mukesh invited me to do a number of scores. I loved doing music of their movies. A few of their songs like Jadoo Hai Nasha Hai and Banjara grew to become standard. After that I received very busy in Telugu cinema. I couldn’t deal with Bollywood. The gives too weren’t thrilling.”
Now, Keeravani says he’s open to good gives from any a part of India. “And why solely India? Wherever on this planet is equally comfy for me. In Hindi cinema, I’ve a snug work relationship with Neeraj Pandey. I did music in Neeraj’s Particular 26 and Child. When he provided the Ajay Devgn movie, I accepted with out hesitation.”
