Lyca Productions, the agency producing the movie, made the announcement on social media. On its Twitter timeline, the agency stated, “‘Panni Kutty’ is censored with a clear ‘U’ and is able to meet you all on the cinemas on July eighth.”

The movie, whose title in English means ‘piglet’, has created curiosity for a number of causes. The primary amongst them is that director Anucharan Murugaiyan’s simply launched internet sequence on Prime Video, ‘Suzhal -The Vortex’ has garnered numerous reward.
