Prajakta Koli, Shikha Talsania to bring 90s nostalgia with ‘Yeh Shaadi Nahi Ho Sakti’
Actors Prajakta Koli, Shikha Talsania, Adhaar Khurana and Chaitnya Sharma amongst many others are all set to star within the ‘Taming of the Shrew’ adaptation ‘Yeh Shaadi Nahi Ho Sakti’.
Drenched in 90s nostalgia, it’s directed by Akarsh Khurana. The central battle of the plot is that love birds Lakshman (Chaitnya Sharma) and Priya (Prajakta Koli) can’t marry one another until the latter’s elder sister Pallavi (Shikha Talsania) get married. Lakshman then devises a hilarious plan and tries to get Pallavi hitched to an eligible NRI groom (Adhaar Khurana). What follows is absolute mayhem, limitless enjoyable, and unattainable wedding ceremony moments.
Director Akarsh Khurana says, “Some tales like Yeh Shaadi Nhi Ho Sakti starring Prajakta Koli, are simply an absolute pleasure to inform, and ‘Yeh Shaadi Nahi Ho Sakti’ was one such mission from the very starting. The forged and crew and I completely cherished mixing the colorful quirks of the 90s with the comedic genius of Shakespeare, each of which I grew up loving.”
