Pranay Rane was born on Monday, 16 September 2002 (age 21 years; as of 2023) in Kankavali, Maharashtra. He attended S M Excessive College, Kankavali. He began taking part in Kabaddi in school and was a part of a Kabaddi group generally known as the ‘Teenager Mandal.’ After education, he moved to Mumbai to pursue engineering and enrolled within the Rizvi Faculty of Arts, Science and Commerce. Later, resulting from his ardour for Kabaddi, he transferred to M D Faculty of Arts, Science and Commerce. Throughout faculty, he performed Kabaddi in school and college stage.
