Ranveer Singh, not Ranbir Kapoor in Baiju Bawra : Bollywood News

There are experiences that Ranbir Kapoor has mentioned no to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s proposed musical love story Baiju Bawra.

Sources near Bhansali say, “Ranbir has not been supplied Baiju Bawra. The one time Ranbir turned down a task in a Bhansali movie was when he was supplied Guzaarish. Bhansali supplied him the position that was ultimately performed by Aditya Roy Kapur. Ranbir had a legitimate cause for turning it down. He informed Bhansali, ‘How can I play a supporting position to Hrithik Roshan? It would typecast me as supporting actor.’ And that was that.”

In regards to the casting of Baiju Bawra, the supply near Bhansali productions says, “It’s Ranveer Singh who’s being critically thought-about for the half. Nothing has been finalized but. Proper now Bhansali’s focus is on the casting of Heera Mandi.”
