Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has inaugurated the Tripura Movie and Tv Institute (TFTI) below the Kolkata-based Satyajit Ray Movie and Tv Institute (SRFTI), a unit of the Union Data and Broadcasting Ministry.
SRFTI Director Himansu Sekhar Khatua stated that with 47 first batch of scholars, the courses of the TFTI would begin from the primary week of December.
He added that the SRFTI initially ready short-term programs and in close to future diploma, graduate and postgraduate programs could be launched within the institute.
Addressing the inaugural perform, famend Bangladesh actor Ferdous Ahmed stated that many individuals from his nation would get a scope to check on the institute.
A movie competition could be organised quickly by the Tripura and Bangladesh authorities in Agartala, he added.
