‘Masoom’ units a tone for intrigue and suspense proper from the beginning. From the background music that spells uncertainty to the misty hues of Punjab, the sequence attracts you in with its atmospheric construct. As Sana snoops round, regardless of the resistance from the remainder of her household, it’s apparent that they’re hiding one thing. Household equations and skirmishes come to the fore, forming an ideal setting for a psychological thriller. The characters are gray and nothing is because it appears. And the sequence manages to construct intrigue for many half as varied sub-plots intermingle. However the efficient build-up is squandered because the narrative is unable to maintain it until the tip.
Parts of the narrative start to stretch, despite being a restricted six episode run and there are some inconsistent character graphs and loopholes that stay unanswered until the tip. However regardless of these, the performances by the sturdy forged – Boman Irani, Upasana Singh, Manjari Fadnavis, Veer Rajwant, Manu Rishi Chadda retains one invested. Samara Tijori as the principle protagonist holds her personal properly by the sequence which calls for a myriad feelings from her.
