UAE Mourns The Loss Of Lata Mangeshkar As The Indian Pavilion In Dubai Expo Puts A Hold To The Cultural Activities For 2 Days

New Delhi/ Dubai, Feb 6 (IANS) There will probably be no cultural actions organised for the following two days within the Indian Pavilion in Dubai Expo within the UAE, and the tricolour will fly at half-mast as a mark of respect to Indian music icon Lata Mangeshkar, who handed away early on Sunday.
‘As a mark of respect for legendary singer #LataMangeshkar, all cultural actions on the Indian pavilion#Expo2020Dubai, for the following two days, have been cancelled,” mentioned UAE official Hassan Sajwani.
The week-long Kerala week pageant simply began two days again, after it was inaugurated by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan formally within the presence of UAE’s Minister of Tradition, Youth, and Social Growth, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan.
The demise of the legendary Indian singer Lata Mangeshkar has shocked the royal household, the Dubai administration, and lakhs of her followers in UAE. The UAE royal household has despatched their condolence message to her household.
On the Indian Pavilion on the Dubai Expo, the Indian crew members and the guests noticed a two minutes silence to pay homage to her.
