Upadhyaksha Movie Review: Upadhyaksha: Chikkanna steals the show in his debut flick as the hero – IndiaTimes

Plot: Upadhyaksha is a sequel to the superhit film Adhyaksha. Set within the pristine village of Gejjepura, folks of two totally different generations, Narayana and Shivarudre Gowda, are at loggerheads as a consequence of variations.
Evaluate: Narayana(Chikkanna) and his accomplices of Chi Thu Sanga in Gejjepura have at all times had variations with Shivarudre Gowda( P Ravishankar), in no matter he tries to do for the village.
As vp of Chu Thu Sangha, Chikkanna plans to take the villagers on a visit to Bangkok as he desires to hinder the development of a conference corridor by Shivarudre Gowda. Ultimately, he will get into hassle as the cash he collected for the villagers goes lacking and it appears to be like like none aside from Shivarudre is behind the lacking cash.
In the meantime, Narayana’s father had as soon as taken a mortgage, which Shivarudre makes use of to his benefit to make sure that Narayana offers up on the ego conflict between them. Now, to clear the debt, Narayana has to conform to work in Shivarudre’s residence as a servant, in entrance of all of the villagers. That is when he meets Shivarudre’s daughter, Anjali (Malaika T Vasupal) and falls in love along with her. In fact, her father does not conform to this, and each Narayana and Anjali go lacking.
Chikkanna stands out in his efficiency as Narayana in his first movie as a lead. He sticks to his strengths that are comedy, one-liners and humorous dialog, which he manages to ship by making the viewers chuckle their coronary heart out. Malaika T Vasupal in an harmless woman position strikes gold in her first outing. There are some double entenders and cringy sequences which might have been averted. Nonetheless, Chikkanna and P Ravishankar entertain with their hilarious conversations.
