Veteran Malayalam Actor Poojapura Ravi, Who Starred In Over 800 Films, Passes Away At 86
One of many senior most actors of Malayalam movie trade Poojapura Ravi handed away at Marayoor in Idukki district on Sunday. He was 86.
Ravi who was dwelling in his ancestral residence at Poojapura in Thiruvananthapuram shifted to his daughter’s residence at Marayoor in Idukki district after his son Harikumar and household shifted to Dublin in Eire because of the skilled commitments.
Poojapura Ravi acted in additional than 800 films. His final film was ‘Guppy’ through which pan India actor, Tovino Thomas was the hero. He commenced his profession via ‘Kalanilayam’ drama troupe of late N.Ok. Acharya who was one of many doyens of Malayalam theatres. Ravi then migrated to the movie trade and was a presence in virtually all the flicks.
The actor was given a ship off in December 2022 when he was shifting his residence from Thiruvananthapuram to Idukki.
