The makers of the upcoming Tamil horror-comedy movie ‘Conjuring Kannapan’ have dropped its newest monitor ‘Bakkunu Suthureney Aiyo Aiyo’. Composed and sung by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the monitor is comedically amusing but groovy, and completely captures the tone of the film, giving off a really danceable celebration melody vibe.
Yuvan’s personal singing could be very non-serious, and in an upbeat manner it’s nearly like a cry to run away. The music contrasts itself in essentially the most distinctive manner, and is pushed principally by rhythm and groove, with the melody kicking in very late.
The music primarily is sort of a combination of folks, classical, pop, digital, movie music, and even some hip-hop, although not within the typical manner. There isn’t a outright rapping or something like that, fairly it’s plenty of spoken phrase with supply aimed like rapping, so there are some tonal similarities to hip-hop.
Extraordinarily filmy, ‘Bakkunu Suthureney Aiyo Aiyo’ is intentionally over-the-top and overly melodramatic, being absolutely conscious of the circumstances and but considerably morbidly laughing at them.
This self-awareness is what makes the music so enjoyable, as a result of it doesn’t take itself critically in any respect and as an alternative makes you overlook there are terrifying ghosts proper in entrance of you, as an alternative making you wish to sit down and bob your head all of the whereas the spirit awkwardly stares at you.
Directed by debutant director Selvin Raj Xavier, the film stars Sathish, Regina Cassandra, Nasser, Anand Raj, Saranya Ponvannan, VTV Ganesh, Redin Kingsley, Elli AvrRam, Jason Shah, Benedict Garrett, Namo Narayana, and Adithya Kathir amongst others.
