Bollywood News: Ankur Bhatia Is All Set To Break Barriers With LGBT Role In Sushmita Sen`s `Taali` – Zee News

New Delhi: Having starred alongside Sushmita Sen, as siblings within the two seasons of the critically acclaimed sequence ‘Aarya’, actor Ankur Bhatia has now reunited with the actress once more for the biographical drama ‘Taali’.

Within the Ravi Jadhav directorial, Ankur shall be seen in a daring alternative of function as a homosexual activist. The function celebrates variety and inclusivity. 

Speaking about his function within the sequence, Ankur informed IANS: “Within the present, I play the character of Navin, who’s a homosexual activist, and the largest supporter of Gauri Sawant, performed by Sushmita Sen.”

Within the crime thriller ‘Aarya’, Ankur had performed the character of Sangram Singh Rathore, who was Aarya Sareen’s (performed by Sushmita) half brother.

On his reunion with Sushmita, Ankur shared: “It introduced me immense happiness and pleasure to reunite with Sushmita after ‘Aarya’, and particularly on this sort of a topic that carries such an necessary message.”

“And it was about time that one thing like this could come out, so individuals are conscious of this. So, I’m actually thrilled and honoured to be part of this present,” added Ankur.

Sushmita shall be portraying one of many boldest avatar because the transgender activist ‘Shreegauri Sawant’ in ‘Taali’. 

The 47 seconds teaser of the sequence offers a sneak peek of the brave quest of struggles, resilience and triumph. 

Created by Arjun Singgh Baran and Kartk D Nishandar, directed by Nationwide award-winning director Ravi Jadhav, written by Kshitij Patwardhan, and produced by Arjun Singgh Baran, Kartk D Nishandar (GSEAMS Manufacturing) and Afeefa Nadiadwala, ‘Taali’ will make clear transgender activist Shreegauri Sawant’s relentless pursuit for the popularity of the third gender in India. 

Alongside Sushmita, it stars Ankur, Aishwarya Narkar, Hemangi Kavi, Suvrat Joshi, Krutika Deo, Nitish Rathore, Meenakshi Chugh, and Shaan Kakkar in pivotal roles.

The sequence will premiere on August 15, on JioCinema.
