Heaven Movie Review: A suspenseful thriller

Story: An investigative thriller wanting the homicide of SI Peter Kurishingal’s son, alongside along with his classmate and household.

Evaluate: Widower SI Peter Kurishingal’s (Suraj Venjaramoodu) son Sebin, his classmate and their household have been murdered in mysterious circumstances at their dwelling. The preliminary police investigation, led by Bijoy Kurivila (Sudev Nair), concludes that the murders occurred as a part of a theft. Due to protocol, Peter was avoided the investigation group even after his requests to make him part of it, however the SP permits him to do a parallel investigation. He discovers that Stephen (Jaffer Idukki), whom the group pin the crime on just isn’t the assassin. Peter is then requested to take over the investigation, which results in the wrongdoer and the reply to why all of a household, and Sebin who was only a customer to the home, have been murdered on that fateful day.

Suraj Venjaramood handles the skilled and emotional facets of his position properly, in the way in which he portrays a police officer whose son was murdered, and his helplessness. Alencier Ley does an excellent job in his cop position, and since it’s an investigative thriller, we are inclined to suspect each character, and he manages his position properly. Deepak Parambol’s cameo is superb. Pleasure Mathews, Sudheesh, and Padmaraj Ratheesh have small however related roles that they do properly in.

Unni Govindraj makes an excellent try along with his maiden directorial, making a thriller the place the suspense holds up until the final lap of the film. The emotional scenes particularly after the loss of life of Peter’s son really feel a bit sluggish, and though it was an excellent choice to maintain the film at 70 minutes, it feels a bit sluggish within the first half, although it quickens comparatively within the second half. Gopi Sunder’s BGM is superb and the way in which he alters the sounds in response to the scenario is commendable. The essential music stored with the alliance to police drum beat was a commendable effort. The screenplay is by a police officer and is the benefit of the movie, with PS Subramanian’s writing provides you the kick of a thriller. Vinod Illampally’s cinematography as soon as once more captures the high-ranges of Idukki, Kattappana refreshingly.

General, that is an investigative thriller by and thru; if you’re a die-hard fan of investigation motion pictures and a Suraj fan, go for it.
