Julia Garner On Emmys Win & Thanks Jason Bateman For ‘Taking A Chance On Her’: “I Just Feel Really Grateful…”
Actress Julia Garner gained her third Emmy on the 74th annual Tv Academy Awards within the class of Excellent Supporting Actress in a Drama Sequence for ‘Ozark’.
Throughout her acceptance speech, the actress, who can also be nominated for her efficiency as Anna Delvey within the Netflix miniseries ‘Inventing Anna’, stated: “To begin with, I need to thank the Tv Academy. I need to thank all people at Netflix and MRC. I need to thank our showrunners and all of the writers within the writers room, thanks for writing Ruth.”
“She modified my life,” Julia Garner stated.
“I need to thank Jason Bateman for taking an opportunity on me. And Laura Linney, you’ve been such a guiding gentle to me. I simply really feel actually grateful, actually grateful, to be right here… and to play Ruth and to be with such wonderful, lovely artists. I really like you all.”
Julia Garner, who performs Ruth Langmore on the Netflix drama, beforehand gained twice within the class for a similar position.
Julia Garner beat out a stacked group, which included Patricia Arquette for ‘Severance’, Jung Ho-yeon for ‘Squid Recreation’, Christina Ricci for ‘Yellowjackets’, ‘Succession’ co-stars J. Smith-Cameron and Sarah Snook, and Sydney Sweeney for ‘Euphoria’.
