Veteran filmmaker Kumar Shahani handed away on Friday in Kolkata. He was 83. Recognized for movies like Maya Darpan and Tarang, the filmmaker was a FTII Pune alumni. All through his six-decade profession, Shahani directed movies like Khayal Gatha (1989), and Kasba (1990).
